| The spinner backing plate is slid over the crankshaft and placed into contact with the engine thrust washer. The propeller and prop washer are then fitted next and retained into place with the elongated prop nut supplied with the spinner. The prop nut is then cinched down tightly. The spinner cone is then fitted so that the edge of the open end of the cone fits and is constrained from radial movement by the groove that runs around the perimeter of the front face of the backing plate. The supplied hex head machine screw is then used to secure the cone. | |||
