Uses:
Our ZAP-RT (Rubber Toughened) is extemely strong, has more flexibility than typical super glues and works on just about everything. ZAP-RT is thicker than ZAP-CA, thinner than ZAP-A-GAP and more flexible than both ZAP-CA and ZAP-A-GAP. Allows for approximately 15 seconds to position parts. Works well on Aluminum, China, Cloth, Fibreglass, Metal, Plexiglass, Most Plastics, Pottery, Rubber and Wood. Particularly well suited for bonding Plexiglass to itself or for bonding Plexiglass to another material such as wood or metal.
Helpful Hints:
When cured, ZAP-RT does not appear to be more flexible than other super glues. It does not appear rubbery or squishy like silicone or sealant. It dries clear and hard but the bond itself is more flexible which enables ZAP-RT to tolerate more vibration and stress, particlarly between dissimilar materials. For critical applications test sample joints to ensure suitable bond strength.
